I'm back home from the Netherlands and I'm going to play in Finland again! I am playing at Club Liberté, Helsinki TONIGHT, sharing the night with the wonderful Finnish singer-songwriter Oona Kapari and Trio Rouvat. And already this Saturday, 3rd August, I will perform at Faces Etnofestival. I will play some very new songs at both shows.

Happy New Year!!!

And... something to start the year with:



Here is the video for one of my new songs, Consolation Asteroid – the video which was created with the help of many of you!

Very, very big thanks to everyone who sent me their clips! Every single clip which I received was used. Sometimes it was a small part and sometimes more, but all of them were important and helped to tell the story. This is my first music video, and I am happy that we made it in such a special way. I hope you will also be pleased with what we have created together!

I have been playing Consolation Asteroid at shows for a while, always just with the piano accompaniment. This much bigger and fuller version has been arranged and produced by Wim Oudijk, composer, musician and producer from the Netherlands. I became a fan of his work after I heard the album Nightporter by the Dutch band Chabliz, which he produced and arranged. Last November, I visited his studio in the Hague and we recorded new, beautiful versions of two of my songs. I will share the other one soon too – and now, I hope you will enjoy this one, and the video!
